UNDER THE ROOF OF LUTHERAN OUTREACH

The Association of Recognised Workshops VaW is under the umbrella of the Diakonisches Werk Coburg e.V., which in turn is integrated into the Diakonisches Werk Bayern e.V. and thus into the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria.

The Diakonie is one of six large independent welfare organisations in Germany. Together with the public sponsors, it ensures basic social services in the state with many thousands of institutions and up to 500,000 employees.

In contrast to other facilities or workshops for disabled people, we attach great importance to integrating our employees as fully-fledged workers in operational processes. They appreciate this and enjoy the development opportunities we can offer them in industrial production.
